One of the biggest challenges Quality Assurance people face is how to get people to listen to them.
Quality Assurance people are in a tough spot because they’re often not the boss of the people they need action from. The constant refrain from my clients is, “Ughh…help me, Lesley…how do I get people to listen to me?” Or “How do I get people to do what I need them to do?” Or “How do I get the boss to take my requests seriously?”
There’s just so much resistance. And it’s coming from everywhere: top, middle, and bottom. People are overworked and the last thing they need are extra demands coming from someone who’s not in a position to put their name in for promotion.
If you’ve managed to build a Quality Culture, you’ve probably figured out that it’s all about your relationships, trust, and good communication.
In this webinar (which took place live on June 19, 2024 in The Quality Network), we dig into the communication bit. Specifically, focusing on what we’re trying to achieve and how we need to adjust how we approach things depending on who we’re dealing with.
Don’t let your impact be limited by your communication skills.
